The
Seasons' Greetings Holiday webring is a ring to unite all websites
with a seasonal or holiday theme, from whatever time of the year.
All sites within the ring should be 100% family-safe : if you come
across anything on any of the members sites which you consider unsuitable
for a family webring, please let
me know and I will deal with it!
To join this webring,
simply click on the button below and follow the instructions, which
I think you will find are very clear.
You can alter the look of your link if you wish, by choosing one of
the logos I have created for you on this page - simply alter the name
of the logo GIF in the HTML code to the name of the logo you have
chosen. Unfortunately, since Geocities and many other free website
hosts have changed their rules, you now have to have the logo on your
own server, so please copy it by right-clicking on it and select "Save
Picture As..." - this also applies to the default ring logo shown
below.
When
you have completed the process and installed the link on your website,
please email me - Bravenet will let me know just as soon as you apply,
and I know you may not necessarily have time to put the link up straight
away so it helps if I know when to look. PLEASE put the link on the
page whose URL you submit - it doesn't have to be the index page,
you can put it on any page you like, as long as you put THAT page's
URL on the join form.

Any
of the logos below can be substituted for the one in the demonstration
navigation bar above : simply replace the image name (shown in pink
in the HTML at the bottom of this page) with the
one shown below your chosen image. If you wish to design your own
logo (size 150 x 100) you may do so - please let me know, and if you
are willing to share your logo I will add it to this page. NB
:all these images are between 5 and 7KB so will take up minimal web
space.

If
you are a new ring member you will automatically be sent the code
with your site ID already inserted; you will only need the code below
if you are altering the link on your site.
If you are already a member of the webring and have the old ring design
on your site you may retain it if you wish or you may change it to
this new design.
The HTML for the new ring navigation bar is shown below : to copy
it to insert into your own web page, highlight all the text within
the box by placing the cursor (left-click) at the start of the text
and, whilst holding the mouse button down, drag across and down the
whole of the text until it is all selected (depending on which browser
and which version you use, the selected text will appear highlighted
against a dark background.) Then select "copy" from the
Edit menu on your Browser Bar, and paste into your web page at the
position at which you want the link to appear.
You will need to add your ring link ID number where it says (siteid)
in red.
If you wish to alter the image, substitute the name of your chosen
image where shown in pink. (Don't forget
to copy the image and upload it to your server!)
