An introduction to this site
This site had, by January 2000 - less than two weeks
after its launch - already got large and cumbersome and so I had to to try
and simplify its navigation : the bulk of the pages can be accessed through
the CALENDAR but, since some of the
pages are not particularly connected to specific days of the calendar
of holidays and special occasions, I have decided to produce a site map
as well.
Links are provided on each page rather than on a separate "links"
page - the simple navigation bar at the foot of each page will take you
to pages within this site, and highlighted links within the main text
may take you to other pages on this site or to pages on other websites,
in which case please use your browser's "Back" button to return to this
site.
